PvP: attack other Commanders’ defenses for rank and weapon modifications.

How it works

Each promotion cycle puts you in a random group (up to 8 Commanders). You attack the other Commanders' Strongholds, the defense teams they set up, to earn points and rank.
Battles come in waves: both sides get reinforcements every few turns, and you score by destroying as many enemy units as you can within the turn limit.
Wiping out every enemy unit promotes you to the next rank at once.

Ranks and rewards

At the end of a cycle the top places of each group move up a rank.
Daily rewards depend on your rank and your place in the group; each new rank also gives a one-time reward.

Weapon modification

Higher ranks unlock weapon modification plans. Basic modifications add fixed stats; advanced ones roll random bonuses within a range. You can lock the bonuses you like and re-roll the rest until every one is right.
