How to Rainbow an ST

Updated:

Three ways to take ST parts to Rainbow: Core kits, Normal kits and Dispatch Missions.

Part ranks

An ST has four parts: body, two arms and legs. Each part goes from rank 1 to Rainbow on its own, step by step:

1 → 2Part · rank 1+Same part · rank 1orNormal Upgrade KitorSpecific Upgrade Kit→Part · rank 2
2 → 3Part · rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2 (level 1 is enough)→Part · rank 3
3 → RBPart · rank 3+Same part · rank 3orCore Upgrade Kit raised to rank 3 by the same steps→Rainbow

The examples below show the body; the other parts work the same way. Erinys routes with Limited Kits are on How to Rainbow Erinys.

With Core Upgrade Kits

You need 1 ST. To take all 4 parts from rank 1 to Rainbow, you need 4 Core Upgrade Kits and 8 Normal Upgrade Kits.

1Core Upgrade Kit · rank 1+Normal Upgrade Kit→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
2Body · rank 1+Normal Upgrade Kit→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
resultChain 1 · rank 3+Chain 2 · rank 3→Rainbow body

With Normal Upgrade Kits only

You need 2 ST and 8 Normal Upgrade Kits. If you get 3 single parts while pulling before you have 2 ST, you only need 5 Normal Upgrade Kits.

1Body of the 1st ST · rank 1+Normal Upgrade Kit→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
2Body of the 2nd ST · rank 1+Normal Upgrade Kit→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
resultChain 1 · rank 3+Chain 2 · rank 3→Rainbow body

With Dispatch Missions

Using only kits from Dispatch Missions takes 2 ST and 4 Dispatch cycles. For example: 1 ST from a new banner, 1 ST from a rerun, and 1 ST plus 4 Specific Upgrade Kits from Dispatch Missions.

1Body of the ST from the new banner · rank 1+Body of the ST from the rerun · rank 1→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
2Body from Dispatch (Dispatch 2100) · rank 1+Specific Upgrade Kit from Dispatch (Dispatch 3900)→rank 2+2 × any purple part · rank 2→rank 3
resultChain 1 · rank 3+Chain 2 · rank 3→Rainbow body
